UKRAINIAN DIALECT TRANSLATION PROBLEMS IN M.O. SHOLOKHOV'S NOVEL "AND QUIET FLOWS THE DON"

An attempt is made to consider the main ways of transfer of dialect of Russianspeaking Ukrainianism into Ukrainian translation on the example of the translation of M. Sholokhov's work "The Quiet Don" in order to determine the performance of the translation decisions made for the transfer of these units in the secondary text. The aim of the work is to test dialect as a occurrence at different levels of speech to determine the ways in which it is translated. To achieve the goal analyzed the meaning of "dialectism" and the views of scientists on it; comparison the original text and translations was considered of looking the method of translations the lexical dialects to a specific language materials; systematized methods of creation the translations lexical dialectisms in the language. The relevance of the work lies in the fact that the methods of translation of dialectisms remain insufficiently studied and systematized. Their description and interpretation require a detailed analysis of extensive artistic material Translation of dialectisms in the works of M. O. Sholokhov reveals a number of problems related to the historical origin of his characters. Most of the dialectisms adopted in M. O. Sholokhov's novel "Тhe Quiet Don" are ukrainisms, that is, words of General consumption for people who speak the Ukrainian language. This makes it difficult to transfer them to the secondary work and is reduced to the transfer of their graphic ways of the Ukrainian language, which greatly reduces the feature of the composition. Russian dialects in the Ukrainian translation can to receive meaning, which coincide with Russian dialect not only in semantic but also in the formal sense. It is Most natural and so common in the novel " Тhe Quiet Don". Currently there is no justified answer to the question of what strategy translates to a dialect vocabulary are appropriative. On the basis of the conducted work, it can be concluded that the study of any language should not be considered outside the context of its regional social varieties, which perform important stylistic and semantic functions.
