LOST / NOT LOST GENERATION: ERNEST HEMINGUAY – Sixties- MAYDAN – HYBRID WAR

Abstract

The article is based on one-time symbolic coincidences of 2014: the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Great Kobzar, and the day of his memory. In addition, Ukraine has entered the phase of war imposed on it. The problem raised by the author in the previous part is a continuation of literary research, and today it is especially relevant, since on the horizon – not only the preservation of the Ukrainian nation, its history, which, unfortunately, according to certain patterns, can repeat itself, but also Ukraine itself as a state. On the parallels of creativity, the classic of world literature, E. Hemingway, who could not stand the exams of life, letting himself in a bullet, Ukrainians bravely resist the enemy. The viciousness of Ukrainians during the Maidan, the war in the East of Ukraine, the daily feat of action is as if the opposition to easy courage, a manifestation of the fierce resistance of reality-"I will not give up without a fight." An attempt is made to investigate what does the "new literature" mean? Perhaps it's just an atypical phenomenon on the literary front of a personal creative biography caused by the tragic extreme of 2014? Literature Maidan has grown into military literature devoted to the events of the war in the East of Ukraine. Yesterday's Maydanivtsi, today's volunteers began to defend their native land from hostile attacks. The feat of heroes, whose star broke out for Ukraine, testifies to the indisputable will of ordinary Ukrainians to escape from the bondage of slavery, at the cost of their own lives, fighting for freedom. And the phenomenon of the feat continues. The author presents a number of urgent tasks that need to be implemented. Losing the enemy information warfare, we have to win this fight. There is an urgent problem – to create unique portraits of Ukrainians, in their absolute multiplicity – in life, language, interviews, memoirs, epistolars, etc. – in our lives, in past centuries, to show the female phenomenon, various foreign influences – to present a unique collection of Ukrainian national portraiture in the literary biography. Our goal is not to quantitatively do this, but to find the essential difference between a Ukrainian and, conversely, something similar. We should be closer to the world, open to communication, to tell more about the seven themselves, about the war-true, honest, frankly. To eliminate white spots of whatever kind of silence – with mass media, movies, classical literature, journalism, painting, theatrical performances, etc.
