Semantic and stylistic features of the functioning of complex multicomponent structures in I . Turgenev`s idiostyle

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of semantic and stylistic peculiarities of the functioning of complex multicomponent sentences in I. Turgenevʼs language creation. It was determined the specificity of the typology and structure of complex multicomponent constructions in this exploration. The author identified the main means of expression of syntactic connection and semantic relations between parts of complex sentences, the expressive-figurative possibilities of complex structures were investigated, as well as the productivity of the existing types of complex multicomponent sentences in I. Turgenev’s stories. Substantial complex syntactical structures that have a hierarchical structure and semantic content are intended for the large-scale transmission of a complex communicative task. Their design is determined by the writer’s desire to present as much information as possible in a relatively complete single syntax complex. The interest in the creativity of the classics of Russian literature can be explained not only by the fact that he is the master of “verbal painting”, but also by the fact that the richness of the Turgenev’s language includes brightly shaped multiconduct syntactic structures. A detailed analysis of complex original syntactic constructs of the writer helps to understand not only the general content of artistic texts, but also to expand the skills of Russian literary language. The role of complex polygonal sentences in I. Turgenev’s works is determined by three main functions: informative, pragmatic and characterizing (estimated). The poetic language of I. Turgenev’s prose consists in the harmonious variety of grammatical, stylistic forms and their meanings. The internal expressive potential of complex polynomial sentences provides a text-forming function that is close to the paraphrase unity of the text. The analysis of complex multicomponent sentences in I. Turgenev’s artistic works will be promising in further scientific researches that explore the comparative analysis of complex multicomponent structures based on the works of other authors of the XIX century, which will expand the linguistic picture of the world and I. Turgenev’s idiostyle.
