Abstract

This article is devoted to analyzing the challenges and development strategies of high-technology education in Ukraine within contemporary global and local challenges, particularly under martial law conditions. The study is based on the comprehensive approach of "Science - Education - Innovative Entrepreneurship," which identifies the higher education instructor as a key figure in integrating scientific ideas and innovations into the educational process and actively involving students in research and development activities. The article highlights five main challenges faced by high-technology education in Ukraine: the gap between educational outcomes and industry needs, insufficient investments in research and development, limited access to modern infrastructure and technologies, brain drain and scientific migration, and the need for continuous learning and adaptation. Strategies to overcome these challenges are proposed, including strengthening ties between universities and industry, increasing investments in scientific research, modernizing educational infrastructure, creating conditions to retain qualified personnel within the country, and developing learning systems to facilitate ongoing adaptation and professional development. Special attention is given to the role of the instructor in modernizing higher education, emphasizing the need to shift from student-centeredness to a model focused on preserving and developing academic potential, which will ultimately strengthen university training within the Triple Helix model.
