SAFE DIGITAL SPACE AS A CONDITION FOR THE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF PARTICIPANTS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

The article considers the problem of psychological safety of the educational environment in the conditions of digitalization, which is becoming one of the most urgent challenges of modern education. The active introduction of digital technologies into the educational process creates new opportunities for development, access to knowledge and individualization of learning. However, at the same time, new risks arise, in particular, such as cyberbullying, information overload, contact with dangerous or destructive content, online addiction, as well as an increase in the level of psychological exhaustion among students and teachers.The study analyzes the theoretical foundations of the concept of «psychological safety», characterizes its components and significance for the harmonious development of the personality in the digital environment. The authors focus on key digital threats that have a negative impact on the mental health of participants in the educational process, in particular children and adolescents, who are the most vulnerable category. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the importance of building a digital culture and developing psychological literacy among all participants in the educational process – students, teachers, parents, administration.The article contains a review of domestic and foreign research on the topic of psychological safety in the digital age, and also offers a number of practical recommendations for creating a safe, supportive and healthy educational space. Such measures include, in particular: the implementation of preventive programs, digital education and media literacy, the development of emotional self-regulation skills, effective communication, critical thinking, ensuring digital ethics in communication. It is also important to involve school psychologists and social educators in constant monitoring of the psycho-emotional state of students.As a result of the study, theoretical principles were identified and further prospects for the formation of a safe information and digital educational space were outlined, which will contribute not only to the preservation of mental health, but also to the effective development of the personality, improving the quality of education and the formation of a positive socio-psychological climate in educational institutions.
