Abstract

Over the past 5 years, education in Ukraine has changed from in-person learning to a mix of hybrid and remote online models. This transition has accordingly led to rapid and exponential growth in the adoption of digital e-learning.Indeed, intelligent computer systems are quickly changing every aspect of our lives, including education. Today, within an information-rich society that quickly acquires and pushes new practices and technological solutions, the influence on modern educators is profound. It demands proficiency with computers, active engagement with emerging digital tech and virtual platforms. As a result, teachers have to learn how to implement new technologies into their educational processes. That’s why this article discusses the importance of digital tools and neural networks in guiding teachers and all individuals involved in educational processes. It highlights how these solutions lead to innovative activities aimed at developing students' digital literacy and intelligence.The article also analyzes the issue of Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage in the educational processes. It discusses the theoretical, methodological and practical basics of using modern AI features in a primary school. It delves into the benefits and challenges of adopting digital learning methods, with a particular emphasis on AI serving as a powerful tool and assistant for teachers in the educational process.The main aim of the article is to explore and assess the potential opportunities and challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence in the work of a primary school teacher; to provide teachers with theoretical knowledge to develop initial practical skills in using «Smart-systems», providing personalized learning and automating routine tasks. Artificial Intelligence (AI) – a technology capable of learning, understanding and replicating the principles and mechanisms of human-like intellectual activities, while also collaborating with people in tandem to improve and make tasks easier.Taking into account the specifics of the hybrid educational process and the individual characteristics of students, the article recommends interactive learning systems, tasks and games developed with the usage of Artificial Intelligence. AI-powered platforms can quickly analyze the strengths, weaknesses and achievements of each student, creating customized interactive learning tasks tailored to their individual results.The article also provides UNESCO's recommendations for integrating generative AI in education and offers methodological guidelines for using digital virtual platforms.With the advancements in digital transformation, there is a fundamental rethinking of the educational model itself. We can only expect more innovative solutions from leading companies like OpenAI and Microsoft Corporation that will help make the learning process even more effective and engaging.
