TRAINING OF EDUCATORS IN NATIONAL AND PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

Abstract

The relevance of the problem of national and patriotic education of preschool children in today’s conditions is particularly acute. Firstly, the war in Ukraine has raised the issue of forming national consciousness and patriotic feelings from an early age. Secondly, educators, as key figures in preschool education, need quality training to effectively foster patriotism in children. Thirdly, the formation of national identity in preschoolers is an important stage in the development of a conscious citizen. Fourthly, the lack of methodological frameworks and a unified approach to patriotic education complicate the work of teachers. Fifthly, high-quality training of educators will help to foster in children a love of the Motherland, respect for its history and culture, which is a guarantee of national unity. Therefore, the training of future educators in national and patriotic education of preschool children is an urgent problem today. The educator helps children to form a sense of patriotism and national consciousness.The purpose of the article is a theoretical study of the problem of national-patriotic education of preschoolers and the application of knowledge by students in the process of practical training in preschool education institutions.To achieve this goal, the analysis of scientific psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature on the research problem, generalisation of scientific facts, analysis of materials from the industrial pedagogical practice of higher education students were used.Pedagogical practice is a key aspect in the training of future early childhood educators, as it contributes to the formation of general, professional competence and skills necessary for effective work with preschool children. Industrial/educational practice includes educational, upbringing and creative aspects that help students to adapt to the real conditions of professional activity; allows students to assess their strengths and weaknesses, which helps in further professional development.
