INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS IN THE PREPARATION OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS

Abstract

The article deals with innovative teaching methods that are used in the preparation of future specialists in physical culture and sports. It has been found out that modern challenges (development of wellness, recreational and rehabilitation services, expansion of fitness industry, change of labor market requirements) activate scientific research on the problem of training of future specialists, in the field of physical culture and sports in particular. Modern approaches to defining the concept of «professional training of future specialists of physical culture and sports» are analyzed and the author’s definition is formulated. It is a dynamic system aimed at forming professional competence, development of personal and professional qualities, as well as readiness for realization in the conditions of modern educational and sports framework. The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the use of innovative teaching methods in the preparation of future specialists of physical culture and sports.The content of innovative learning, innovative teaching methods and the effectiveness of their use in the preparation of future specialists in physical culture and sports in the process of studying the discipline «Pedagogy of Higher School» are determined. It is noted that the structure of different types of lectures is modernized by innovative teaching methods.This makes it possible to focus on a comprehensive review of the problem. The methods of learning that take place in the information lecture are distinguished: problem-search, concept card, method of insert. The specifics of the specialty, structural and logical scheme of the educational and professional program, practice are taken into account. Attention is paid to practical classes aimed at the development of methodological, communicative, reflexive competences of the teacher, his/her pedagogical skills. Methods of teaching are singled out: modelling of situations, project-based, creation of associative lines. It is stated that the usage of innovative methods in the educational process is consistent with the formation of competitive specialists and is a component of educational and scientific and methodological work of the teacher, an indicator of his/her pedagogical skills.
