ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCE OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN A DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The article examines the issue of forming entrepreneurial competence in high school students in the context of the digital transformation of modern education. The relevance of the study is determined by societal needs to prepare young people for life and professional self-realization in the conditions of the digital economy, a dynamic labor market, and the growing role of innovative activity. Entrepreneurial competence is defined as an integrated personal quality that combines economic knowledge, digital skills, creativity, initiative, readiness to take risks, decision-making ability, and responsibility for their outcomes. The paper analyzes theoretical approaches of domestic and foreign scholars to the interpretation of the concepts “entrepreneurial competence,” “digital educational environment,” and “competence-based approach.” The role of the digital educational environment as a space for the development of entrepreneurial thinking and the formation of practical skills and abilities of high school students is outlined through the use of online platforms, business process simulators, project-based activities, startup-oriented learning, digital services, and educational resources. The pedagogical conditions for the effective formation of entrepreneurial competence in high school students within a digital educational environment are identified, including the integration of entrepreneurial content into academic subjects, the application of active and digital teaching methods, the development of students’ digital literacy, the formation of motivation for entrepreneurial activity, and the support of educational partnerships between schools, business, and the community. The expediency of using digital technologies as a tool for personalizing learning and enhancing its practical orientation is substantiated. The materials of the article can be used in the educational practice of general secondary education institutions and in further scientific research on entrepreneurial education.
