INNOVATIVE APPROACHES AND MODERN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE MODERNIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of innovative approaches and modern educational technologies as a strategic resource for modernizing the educational process in vocational education institutions in Ukraine. The relevance of the study is justified in the context of military challenges, the digitalization of the economy, and the growing demands of the labor market for quality vocational training. The purpose of the article is to provide a comprehensive theoretical and methodological justification of the essence of innovative approaches and modern educational technologies in the context of modernizing the educational process in vocational education institutions, as well as to determine their impact on improving the quality of vocational training for students. The methodological basis of the study consists of systemic, competency-based, activity-based, and personality-oriented approaches; methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, interpretation of scientific sources and regulatory and legal documents, as well as generalization of the results of practical activities of the educational institution were used. The article reveals the peculiarities of implementing competency-oriented, dual, integrative, and STEM-oriented approaches; analyzes the use of digital, projectbased, problem-based, and interactive learning technologies. Based on the experience of modernizing the educational process at Higher Vocational School No. 21 in Ivano- Frankivsk, it highlights the introduction of digital simulators of production equipment, the organization of practice-oriented master classes, the activities of the Career Center, the implementation of project initiatives, and the integration of professional and soft skills in the training of students. The scientific novelty of the study lies in combining the theoretical justification of innovative approaches with a systematic analysis of their implementation in a specific vocational education institution, which allows modernization to be viewed as a holistic process of integrating competency-based, digital, and practice-oriented components of training. It has been proven that the introduction of innovative approaches and modern educational technologies contributes to improving the quality of vocational training, developing professional mobility, digital literacy, and the competitiveness of future specialists.
