MUSICAL ART IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION: AN ANTHROPOLOGICAL APPROACH TO THE MODERNIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

In the course of the study, the author examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the functioning of musical art in the context of the digitalization of society, outlines the specifics of the anthropological approach to the modernization of the educational process in higher education institutions of an artistic profile, and analyzes the impact of digital technologies on the transformation of the professional training of future musicians. Digitalization is understood not only as a technological phenomenon, but also as a cultural and anthropological process that changes the ways of artistic communication, the formation of creative identity, and the structure of musical thinking. The relevance of the article's topic is due to profound changes in the field of musical art caused by the development of digital technologies, as well as the need to modernize the educational process, taking into account contemporary sociocultural challenges. In the digital environment, music takes on new forms of existence – from electronic composition and media art to online concerts and virtual collaborations, which requires updating the content, methods, and forms of professional training for higher education seekers. The research methodology is based on the application of systemic and cultural approaches and the principles of historicism, which made it possible to consider the educational process as a holistic dynamic system of interaction between personal, technological, and cultural factors. The scientific novelty of the research lies in revealing the anthropological dimension of the digitalization of music education and justifying the need for a harmonious combination of innovative digital tools. In addition, taking into account the uniqueness of the construct under study – musical art as a special form of spiritual self-expression – it has been proven that digital technologies should be viewed not as a substitute for live creative interaction, but as a means of deepening and expanding it. The study found that the modernization of the educational process in higher education institutions should be based on humanistic values, taking into account cultural identity and the needs of modern digital society, which will ensure the formation of competitive, creatively active, culturally conscious specialists in the field of musical art.
