UT-OF-CLASS HEALTH-PROMOTING ACTIVITIES AS A CONDITION FOR FORMING A HEALTH-PROMOTING WORLDVIEW AMONG STUDENTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of organizing extracurricular health-saving activities as one of the conditions for forming a health-saving worldview among students. The article theoretically substantiates and reveals the content of extracurricular health-saving activities as an important pedagogical condition for the formation of a health-saving worldview among students in the process of professional training in higher education institutions. The relevance of the study is determined by the growth of social, psycho-emotional, and informational burdens on students, the need to form a responsible attitude towards one's own health as a basic personal and professional value, as well as the need to integrate the health-saving component into all areas of the educational process. The work clarifies the essence of the concept of a “health-preserving worldview” as an integrative personal formation. It has been proven that extracurricular activities create additional opportunities for the formation of internal motivation, self-reflection, the development of responsibility, and the ability to self-regulate. The content areas and organizational and methodological principles for the implementation of extracurricular health-promoting activities have been identified, in particular the introduction of training, educational programs, project and volunteer activities, sports and health events, information and communication support, and pedagogical support for students. It has been proven that the systematic, integrative, and practical orientation of such forms of work ensures a holistic combination of cognitive, value-motivational, and activity components of a health-promoting worldview. It is concluded that the effectiveness of forming a health-saving worldview among students depends on the creation of a health-saving educational environment, interdisciplinary integration of educational content, the use of innovative pedagogical technologies, and the establishment of social partnerships. Prospects for further research related to the development of models for organizing extracurricular activities and tools for assessing the level of formation of a healthsaving worldview among future specialists are outlined.
